Gymnastics Unlimited Tuition and Scheduling Policy
CLASS REGISTRATION
-
New students will be placed into their selected classes based on the order in which registrations are received. The summer schedule is issued in May of each year and the Fall/Winter/Spring schedule is issued in July. You will receive notification advising you that the schedule is available and when enrollment will begin. You are encouraged to enroll as early as possible as classes fill quickly. We will make every effort to place each student in the class of their choice. If this is not possible, you may request to go on the waiting list for that class and we will notify you when a vacancy becomes available. *Note: The only time the class schedule changes, is at the beginning of August, and at the end of the school year.
-
Your child is automatically guaranteed a space in his/her selected class each month UNLESS the office is notified in writing by you. We require a (2) two week written notice prior to withdrawing from classes for any reason. If (4) four consecutive classes are missed and payment has not been received your child will be removed from our program and placed in an inactive file. The class space will be made available for another child. You will be responsible for any unpaid tuition.
-
Your annual registration fee is honored for 12 months from the date it is originally paid. It is a FAMILY fee and covers any member of your immediate family(siblings only). If you register a second child, he/she is covered by the initial registration fee. REGISTRATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE!
-
To ensure that all of our students receive proper instruction with sufficient time on the equipment, we limit our class sizes. Our target ratios are as follows:
Preschool classes …..6 students per instructor
Stage I & up …. 8 students per instructor
5. Please call or stop by the office to make any class schedule changes. All class changes must be handled through our office. Because we feel that our instructors should put all their energies into their most important priority–teaching their students, we don’t ask them to handle scheduling.
MAKE UP CLASSES
-
You have (2) months to schedule a make up class after a class is missed. All make up classes are scheduled through our office. After your child has missed a class, please call the office for available make up classes. If a scheduled make up class is missed without 24 hour cancellation notice, the make up class is forfeited. WE DO NOT adjust fees for missed classes.
-
Please do not ask the office to schedule a make up class until after the absence has occurred. If you are unsure of how many make up classes you need, all absences are recorded and can be checked by the office.
*PLEASE DO NOT ASK THE OFFICE TO DEVIATE
FROM THE MAKE UP POLICY AS STATED ABOVE. *
TUITION
-
Our Fall/Winter/Spring sessions run from August through May. Summer session is June and July. Because some months have (4) four classes and others (5) five, your child will have an average of four classes per month. Holidays are taken into consideration when establishing monthly tuition. Therefore, some months your child’s tuition may be slightly higher for (5) classes, and slightly less when there is a holiday.
-
WE DO NOT PRORATE for missed classes (except for new students registering mid-month). Please do not ask the office to prorate your bill for missed classes When you enroll your child in a class, your place is reserved; therefore, you are responsible for payment regardless of your child’s attendance. We do allow make up classes as explained above.
-
We are a small business with monthly obligations that we must pay each month. Because of this, your child’s tuition is due by the 15th of the month. A $10.00 late fee will be assessed if tuition is paid after the 15th. Tuition statements will be given out the last class of the month for the following month’s tuition. If your child is absent that week, we will mail out your statement to the address on file. Please remember that billing is an expensive process, and one we try to avoid. We want to hold these types of costs down so that we can give you and your child the best quality instruction at the lowest possible price.
